Found footage of a gift I drew for Wayc back in 2020, so pushing this up there to show you guys. I’d say this is one of the first moments I started doing full eyes on figures again, so that’s a milestone. This is half-adoptable Ki’voosh, which is a bug girl from a few of my writing settings.

If you’re wondering about the left field choice of music, Ki’voosh’s outfit was based off of this video; hence the nod-off to it: 【晚香玉】- Ma Baker (full dance video)

Video art process for Lunary Empyrea is finally out!

I really love featuring this redhead OC of mine, usually in writing pieces. It’s not often I do artwork featuring her, maybe that’ll change as time goes on.

I had a lot of video errors when capturing the footage, including a lot of unwanted notifications and the software cutting out later in the process; so some of the overall progression is lost, and there’s a privacy bar on the right. Apologies!

So recently I’ve been in a mood with my art, and usually that does result in me coming up with genuine stuff that I’m feeling. This was the result of some Gradius music, upcoming Valentine’s day and some IRL experience when dealing with people where I live.

This is that recurring redhead character in some stuff I write, although I don’t draw her often. I decided with all of that going on to draw her in my new style, and push it a little further this time.

I suppose you can also call it a continuation of a piece I did when the pandemic was in full swing, but yeah, there you go.

Outfit credit is the acclaimed Azure Empyrea from Honkai Impact.

When I opened my Discord server months ago for buddies, my pal Taranava had made the suggestion I draw my bug girls as baristas, one of them brandishing weapons. I loved the concept and obliged recently, and have now pronounced the two as the server’s official mascots. I’ve yet to give them names, but I think they’re a bit too inspired by Gura and Ina from Hololive.

A long time ago my DnD buddy Karomaz had a concept for a game, involving a tiefling paladin and his kobold alchemist. This was always just a joke doodle for months, but when I got that post-birthday art streak, took a proper stab at the idea.
.
This is tiefling paladin Lillith, Champion of Calistra under the Patfhinder 2e rules. And her sidekick is Flakk, a kobold who scraps with dirty tactics. What future awaits for them? We’ll find out and see.

Something I did at the beginning of 2020, just to get back on track after some work and whatnot happened. Specifically, had two very nutty jobs I did work for, and just needed to create something really in tune to my interests.

This was also inspired by the stories about Lockheed Skunkworks. Plus also showing off some heroines with space-age weaponry in black.

So in my custom tabletop CoC game, I feature several of the cast from my Heather and Janus Fairytale settings. One of these is Maddie, Elizabeth’s sister. She helped co-manage a tavern by the name of The Nosy Ram, named after Fluff. She was a bit of a source of information for the players, who often visited her establishment.

.

One of her favorite things to do was to grab a chair and sit with the players, often flipping the chair and sitting backwards on it. A few of them found this hilarious, and the players associated this posture with the character. They also dubbed this after the famous “Riker Maneuver”, in which Will Riker sweeps his leg to it over a chair. So I decided to quickly draw this out for them.

.

One thing’s for sure; Janus and Heather have a pretty eccentric aunt. Pretty sure she makes Elizabeth facepalm quite a bit, too.
