I saw the artstyle for this game and had to give it a try! It does get a bit tricky going forwards but it reminded me of Minecraft a little. The music is really beautiful, too. Sort of reminded me of Ikea.
Eateries – Iced Double Berry Matcha

I decided to stop in at the Jonesborough Starbucks for my seasonal stop-in. While I opted to hide in a corner with a book this time, I did grab whatever they had on special with the menu.
Queue this. It didn’t come in a to-go cup, so I had to slurp it up in one go. They had a tray for dishes to pitch it over before leaving. Very nice interior design, though! It was essentially empty when I stopped, and it was a bit more accessible than the one on N. Roan St. I still have nostalgia over the outdoor seating and old location, but this isn’t a bad alternative if I don’t want to fight traffic or distance.
For the drink itself. mild but interesting. This is actually the first time I ordered a matcha anything since the craze took on. Might need to try the stock one at some point (in that there’s no berry flavor involved).
Snow During Approach

I ran with Dad to Knoxville to help take care of an errand. On the way back, the severe weather due that day finally hit while crossing the French Broad River. By the time we reached Newport, the snow was falling quite quickly.
The individual flakes are hard to see as we’re blowing past them here, but they were clogging up the horizon if you look towards where the river was. Visibility had already started to decrease.
I got the vibe of a plane heading into heavy weather, swapping to rely on instruments. As this was a non car as well (Ford Econoline), that feeling got driven home even more.
Eateries – Philly Cheesesteak

I haven’t gone out to a lot of social lunches (or dinners) as of late. But me, siblings and some friends of one of them ended up at this lovely spot called the Mid City Grill.
Which was interesting on its own, because I never really explored Johnson City in any capacity. Save random Craigslist junk I’d buy or sell in my last semester up at ETSU, most of Johnson City was not something I poked my nose it. It didn’t feel like you belonged anywhere, groups weren’t inviting you along or just the “you weren’t local” vibe everyone gave.
So being in a group and going here was actually a big chance.
Honestly there wasn’t a whole lot on their menu that I cared for, so I defaulted to a Philly Cheesesteak. And that actually wasn’t a bad choice. That was one of the best Philly cheesesteaks I’ve had for the few times I’ve eaten them, and it felt more like a cooked gourmet sandwich than dry cheapo stuff.
Other things I’ve had was some onion rings with a really nice ranch sauce of some sort. Apparently this was my sister’s “side”, so I swapped the fries with the onion rings. I don’t regret it.
8 out of 10, would go there again. Take company when you go.
Here’s a map if you choose to look it up yourself.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 – #3 White Floating Citadel
This is the last installment of the Space Marine 2 playthrough for the moment.
Takeaways from this until we continue is that; looks like a promising game, but is very demanding on your system. It’s fun to play with other people. And plasma pistols are pretty decent.
Until next time.
Eateries – Chicken Alfredo

The siblings and I were on the hunt for some good Italian one evening. Not knock-off, high-end fancy Italian that you’d take someone for on a date. The stuff you’d find in a brick corner, which you’d stab your fork into it and claim it’s the “Closest thing to one in New Jersey.”
We ran across Johnny Brusco’s during that search. I can safely say this place comes fairly close.
I did heresy and not try a pizza, opting for chicken alfredo instead. To my surprise it was plated pretty well, the chicken had seasoning and the garlic bread actually went with the dish.
A far cry from sad, lame pasta from Pizza Hut.
Ambience was important too. It wasn’t stiff or formal, nor was it a dump. Sports oriented yes, but cozy in an interesting way. I felt it was something off a busy street, that you could hide away for a short bit.
I’m leaving this fantastic place for you to check out below. You won’t regret it.
Assemble With Care – Full Playthrough
Taking a break from the Space Marine playthrough to publish this, Assemble with Care! Picked it up during the winter sale.
It’s done by the same people as Monument Valley, and was a bit of fun to play. It’s pretty straightforward and the color palette is nice.
I did a lot better on this game, but I did run into a softlock with the watch level. I trimmed that down without it looking obnoxious.
We’ll see what 2026 holds for my upload schedule. An update blog will be coming soon.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 – #2 – Clomping Through the Manufactorum
Continuation of our Space Marine 2 playthrough!
It’s hilarious that a year from the playthrough date, my brother barely had any idea what 40K was. Honestly, I still feel that way about myself as well. And now we’re speculating on who’s chaos or not.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 – #1.5 – The Machine Spirit was Angry with the RTX
Got this game a year ago via gift, but I finally got it through my editing queue. My brother and I have slowly been going through co-op with it.
The first part of this playthrough got screwed up recording, it did the “black screen of death” while doing the entirety of the first mission (up to the satellite dish), then magically started recording properly when we got to this point. It actually is maxing out my system, so there may be more tech errors over most of my other playthroughs.
We’re planning on going back and redoing it at some point.
Otherwise, enjoy the few videos for the holidays with this playthrough; we’ve taken a hiatus from the moment.
Monument Valley 3 – Garden of Life DLC
This took a little longer than I liked to get this out upon release, but I do hope you enjoy!
I don’t know if I triggered the playthrough right with the Memories section, but I ended up with a credit roll before that quest became available. Still, I was able to do this out in one sitting save a replay of the last puzzle.
I was unable to trigger the last in-game achievement for a 100% while recording, but all you have to do is replay one of the Memories in the hall to trigger “Reminiscence”.
My Monument Valley playthrough has been one of the more positively received content that I’ve made for my channel for 2025. Thank you so much for the support, and I hope you stick around!
