The Techie Kid in the Garage

If you’re curious, here’s a shot a relative grabbed of me about a week after my parents sold a piece of property. I was storing countless machines and computers there, and I had to pack up everything and bring them home. But as I was using the garage as a graveyard, there was computers galore. I was told that I needed to get rid of some of this stuff, which I told them I would, it wouldn’t be a problem. So I slowly started to hodge-podge computers together in the garage, trying to bring whatever didn’t work to life to at least sell or show that I had a system working to keep.

It was pretty late when this was taken, so I’m kind of “meh”. I believe the system I was working on was getting reformatted to scratch.

Jennifer Request – Kasailan

This is an amazing request that Kasailan did of my Jennifer character. I’m totally blown away with it. She looks so real and yet has that anime touch to it! Thanks a bunch.

Xudos Battleship

I decided to give this a stab after doing my Starfighter Dragoon piece. This is a Xudos battleship, based on the SE3 shipset that my brother had made. Can use some tweaks but am mostly happy with it.

This is another somewhat short blog…I’m itching like crazy. Likely the outdoors.

Swapped games with U that he asked for, and got a Venus Flytrap. Now to just get it home and plant it, among some other things, like draw an art trade for Tekli.

I went to M’s band concert yesterday. Had a ton of fun, and got to see what a high school looked like for the first time in my life. It was an interesting experience, me never going to high school. Not sure of what to make of what I saw, but that much I will say for now.

Meet Kira the Betta

Sorry this isn’t much of a picture, but world, meet Kira. Kira, meet world. He’s my new betta, and sits on my bookshelf above my PC. He doesn’t have a bad setup, but I do have to change his water a lot more often because of no filtration system. Still, he has a pretty good life. Much easier than keeping a bit 30-gallon tank, I will admit.

Well, a somewhat uneventful day…

Went to Morristown to give Walters State my info for next semester, then spent an hour or two at Norm’s place and played Halo 2 on XBox Live with Pp. That was fun, considering I never touched Live in the first place.

Wow, what a weekend. Was very busy on Sunday spring cleaning my room; part of it is done, at least I finished my closet. Lounged around the place on Saturday, hope to take it easy this afternoon.

CG’ed Larina last night, will try to upload later on. Have yet to type another chapter for Space Raptors – 2007. I actually need to finish that story, and give a snippet so that people can read what’s being created. That Word doc is sitting there almost every other day, and I do look at it!

Fish are doing fine, I’m just feeling blue. But I’m okay. Maybe I’ll try to do a good Space Empires game when I get home.

It may sound lame, but someone please reach out! I get that people have gone to do stuff for the summer, but it’s only immediate family that’s showing up in my call log since the semester ended. it’s actually been going on for a bit before that, but I guess I’m only now noticing it.

Space Raptors – Larina

Just got done doing this. Hopefully digitizing my art becomes a habit!

It’s not landing the same effect as people I’m seeing on deviantART, so I just need the freedom, time and tools to go forward with it properly. That’s not happening with the way things are going on at home right now. There’s a few bits that still bug me, so I’ll probably just upload the sketch version too.

Anywhozles, meet Larina! A non-combatant sidekick for the Space Raptors team (despite the pistol saying otherwise), Larina’s basically a knock-off space princess of a small world out in the boonies. Snark, charm and less serious to balance the group’s dynamic.

I definitely took a little bit of inspiration from Meer Campell for the outfit design, but added my own sci-fi flair to make it a bit less showgirl.

I have other doodles of her around the place, I’ll see if I can get them up someday.

Okay, here the blog for the last time this week until the beginning of next week. Sorry for no blog yesterday….

Finally finished my art trades. I’m really happy about that. 😀 Actually, I have one request and one more pending, but the two that were high priority are now finished.

I got hold of Advent Rising for XBox and The Swan Princess on DVD; I finally own them! Thanks to Brandon for the suggestion of the game, and thanks to T for letting me watch the Swan Princess ages ago…

Wow, I haven’t typed a blog in two days.that definitely qualifies me to type on early in the day on a Wednesday.

Monday was semi-okay; just busy a lot. Mom’s relatives are over, and today’s the first day we’re actually getting to visit with them.

Yesterday, I went to a Halo tournament in Morristown. I took my brother with me, and we took our XBox over with our four controllers. Pp was there, so my brother and I were set on one team, while Pp was on another. It was a stalemate; Keith came over to play some, but Andrew as the only person on my team who could steadily kill Pp. I hope we do better on our next one…
