new york city

Well, this is the first entry in my dream journal series, I do hope you guys find it interesting; enjoy.

Original Dream Date: October 11, 2018

It’s current day of 2018, possibly the evening. My dad comes into my bedroom, unaware that I’ve seen him. He’s younger looking, as if he’s twenty years younger or such (so probably about his later 30s/early 40s.) He has big black garbage bags with him, and starts to throw all my stuff in the garbage bags and walk out. I’m heading out to NYC for awhile, and definitely plan to snag you some interesting photos if not stories for you guys. In my absence, enjoy this piece in the meantime. I’ve always joked about sticking someone with older-fashioned clothes in a car for a road trip, so I’m glad to finally properly get this illustrated.

Honestly, I actually enjoyed this before heading out, especially considering this was eaten at 7:30AM. Though I got hungry pretty quickly afterwards.

The first thing that came to mind were the Red Flag stories of “going downtown”, where the populace was SAMs and other aerial threats. That’s exactly what came to mind when I saw this going into New York; this was the first time seeing the big city on a GPS, so it was very enlightening to say the least. If anything, it made me more excited.
