Gaming Playthroughs

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 – #1.5 – The Machine Spirit was Angry with the RTX

Got this game a year ago via gift, but I finally got it through my editing queue. My brother and I have slowly been going through co-op with it.

The first part of this playthrough got screwed up recording, it did the “black screen of death” while doing the entirety of the first mission (up to the satellite dish), then magically started recording properly when we got to this point. It actually is maxing out my system, so there may be more tech errors over most of my other playthroughs.

We’re planning on going back and redoing it at some point.

Otherwise, enjoy the few videos for the holidays with this playthrough; we’ve taken a hiatus from the moment.

Monument Valley 3 – Garden of Life DLC

This took a little longer than I liked to get this out upon release, but I do hope you enjoy!

I don’t know if I triggered the playthrough right with the Memories section, but I ended up with a credit roll before that quest became available. Still, I was able to do this out in one sitting save a replay of the last puzzle.

I was unable to trigger the last in-game achievement for a 100% while recording, but all you have to do is replay one of the Memories in the hall to trigger “Reminiscence”.

My Monument Valley playthrough has been one of the more positively received content that I’ve made for my channel for 2025. Thank you so much for the support, and I hope you stick around!

The Pedestrian 06 – A Twist Ending

Now this was an interesting way to making things come about. A real world angle? Manipulating both sides of the world?

This first part did not help with my fear of heights. But the second part? Nice cozy spot. I loved the room and ending. I wished there was more stuff to explore in the room, and the concept of him inventing a thing to “jump” someplace isn’t too far off from my writings.

There was supposedly a deeper story planned according to the art book, but the devs realized that it was hampering the gameplay and development. They settled on this mix that would give something abstract, but wouldn’t be in the way for someone just playing.

I know I missed a few secrets, but I got a 100% completion rate in Steam. So I think these were cosmetics rather than missed Easter eggs.

For respect of the people that got mixed up in this game, I’ve included the credits.

We’ll see what the next game holds.

The Pedestrian 05 – Skyscraping

This was certainly an interesting level, although I liked the sceneries of where I was before. I felt less that I was in a familiar city, and more like I had gone someplace out of Mirror’s Edge or Stolen.

This one I had to stop and start a number of times due to interruptions, and even had to pick it up a few days later because of this. A revisit with new eyes helped a little.

The Pedestrian 03 – Visiting College Park

When I got to this specific level, it reminded me of The Witness quite a bit. That’s one game I’ve never touched for a playthrough, and honestly had to do a lot of it with a walkthrough. Maybe I will visit it one day.

This still had the NYC vibe here, but more like Kew Gardens or someplace in Manhattan. Or maybe a generic city from a Mavis Beacon typing game.

The Pedestrian 02 – Street Sign Maze Downtown

For a moment, I forgot why I actually got this game in the first place. As soon as I got to this spot, then I remembered why.

I’m not an expert on New York City by any means. But I got that NYC/New Jersey vibe from this specific level. It didn’t help that my dad used to have a NJ driver’s handbook back in the 90s, and a lot of the signs and colors seemed to match up with this.

I did flounder with the game years later, and I seem to hit a roadblock with figuring out some of the puzzles. You’ll notice that some of the gameplay has been cut throughout this entire playthrough. If something seems to be taking too long, feel free to skip ahead. I apologize for the inconvenience. I’ve done my best to cut out dead space without being obnoxious or apparent.

The Pedestrian 01 – Brand New Slate

I’ve had this game on the backburner for a very long time, and honestly didn’t get to focus on it like I wanted with it in 2021. Let’s change that.

With the death of Windows 10 looming, I’ve been reaching into my game collection for simpler, older games that I’ve been hoarding since I started to collect games on Steam. This was one of them. The trailer had me hooked, and I really loved the idea of a street sign character going about its business.

Monument Valley 3 – Full Playthrough

I’m a whole month and some late with a new release, but I still hope you enjoy. August is almost always an extremely busy month for me.

This was an interesting direction they took the series, to say the least. It’s not bad per se, they added a lot more story and some character development along the way. I wish I knew how it connected to the other two without having to go look up a Wiki, but it works as a standalone title if you look at it this way.

There are two bits that were cut, one due to the game’s visual design not staying consistent at times. So this would’ve been about two hours I spent for a total playthrough.

Do note I missed a few achievements, but I went back and was able to complete them all once I knew what to do. An additional DLC is out for a different version of the title, but should be released in December along with a brand new DLC. I’ll follow up with another video when those come out.

Monument Valley 2 – Full Playthrough

This installment of the game felt more narrative, and it was interesting to see different vistas along the way. I especially loved the artwork and scenery on the Docks level, at least there was story to go along with these now named characters. Was a little disappointed it was shorter than the first game.

I missed it in the playthrough, but there are a few things to click on in the last level (a lizard in the Mirador). If you tag this and did everything else I played along as, you should also get 100% achievements.
