It’s taken me a year and some since I took on this project, but I finally have the trifecta of Crobato’s work chronicled when this goes live. I certainly hope that both old and new members of the Homeworld community appreciates it.

Chris “Crobato” Robato is a name known in the Homeworld fan community, known for a few notable, well-written pieces in the early 2000s. Before Soul of the Progenitors dropped in 2004, he would go to write two of his well-known works; The White Beast, and The Kadeshi Crusade.

Both were originally hosted on Kiithopia, and then hosted on the now defunct RelicNews forum; a hotspot for all Homeworld fans in those days.

In 2004,  Chris “Crobato” Robato worked on a massive fanfiction set in the Homeworld universe. It was well over 100,000 words, and was hosted on the now defunct RelicNews forum; a hotspot for all Homeworld fans in those days.

So I follow the infamous Reg, daughter of the mom who’d play numerous Bioware video games. This subsequently led to the creation of Bioware According to Mom, which has been a fantastic journey to many, including the mom getting some fame in Mass Effect 3 when the Citadel DLC came out.

Anyways, Reg’s birthday was today and I saw a post of “all I got for my birthday was a discount code to buy a mobile game.” I figured the Internet space could do better, hence I cooked this up!

References include Bioware mom quips including the “krogers” working at Krogers (her pronunciation of krogans), Garrus getting stuck with the name Beans, and lastly getting her hands on a babby kroger (that’s how she spelled it.)

Suffice to say Reg loved it. Glad to be of service. Swing by their blog or follow on Twitter for more shenanigans!

Sheena Fujibayashi from Tales of Symphonia reaching out from a Garmin GPS, pointing to a driver to where to go next.

So, this has been something that I worked on in 2010. It was a personal flair for me, something I used solely for myself (and shared with my family), mostly for personal reasons and with some issues I was grasping with after my last anime convention visit in 2009.

I had an incomplete project that up to this day never finished. It was a fan crossover thing that was evolving into an audio drama! Finding amateur voice actors and actresses on Youtube, we did lines and it was up to me to put it together. However one character in particular I could never get the lines for. It’s been dormant since.

Back when I was around in the RWBY community, this Pyrrha cosplayer who’s name I don’t remember was doing this “name feature” event in a Facebook post. She’d take requests from people in the RWBY group, then pose with their name while doing a “casual Pyrrha” cosplay. The result? Something like this.

I had managed to make it into the final list to get my name featured, so this photo was one the cosplayer released in an album. I don’t remember her name, but if I recall it I’ll update the post accordingly.

I’ve yet to find the full Lacus Clyne figure of her normal outfit for less than $100, but I snagged this on an online sale recently; Lacus in a spacesuit! She’s a bit bigger than most of my other Gundam figures, and I love her pose. Too bad she can’t stay on the desk, though.

Either way, girls in spacesuits equal win. Definitely don’t regret this snatch.
