I think I’m ready to settle in for the weekend. I had a not-so-tiring but still busy day yesterday.
Upon arriving at ETSU in Johnson City aboard the USS Orion, I bought Taco Bell food of two bean burritos, a nachos, a drink, a Fiesta Potatoes, and a Nacho Cheese Chalupa.
When I met my cousin, he took me back to the dorm. I shared a burrito and some of the nachos with him, and gave his roommate the chalupa. Once we finished eating, per a contact’s instructions, we linked up with a previous face in front of the library; Kacie who I’d met from my first ETSU trip. We then went inside and sat down.
The astronaut who was speaking was Colonel Commander Eileen M. Collins. Super interesting presentation, and pretty cool to meet someone who piloted in space, Cousin from before, his friend and and I got our picture taken with her.
Then upon letting him upload the pictures to his computer, I proceeded to leave to another cousin’s house. I saw what a Room Check was, too.
After visiting, I docked at home at about 11:43 PM. I hit the sack really quick after eating some food.
Today, did Accounting class. That out of the way, and now that I’m back at Starbase 7, I will go take a nap, since I already ate. Laters.
NOTE: Future Janeil here. There was a block of text that described my visit to visit the astronaut in question, but I’m going to expand on it a bit more and make it a separate post (such as an actual photo, etc). As such, I’ve removed it for redundancy. It‘ll fall to match with my travels and outings, so that it could be found easier. I’ll link to it when that hits the checklist.
