This fantastic piece was originally a sketch done by awesome dA artist MGilhang; took a few months for it to get done, but it was worth the wait. By then I had gotten a whole lot better with Photoshop in terms of coloring, so when I took to this piece it had a different level of quality over the pieces I’d usually do.
I couldn’t have asked for a better, sexier version of Britney from anyone, and don’t think anyone would be matching up to that for awhile. This is exactly how I saw her in my head and am thankful to see someone do her justice.
This was a fun bit that happened. A semi-buddy I follow on deviantART did this request of Yurika and Twilight Princess Zelda swapping their clothes, much to each other’s humor. Her art program was screwed up to digitze it, so I decided to go color it myself with my newly-acquired coloring skills. Thanks, DIGM.

Back in college when I had a bit of money and was full-blown fanboy of the Mass Effect franchise, I commissioned this amazing artist to do a crossover between the Tales of Symphonia and Mass Effect universes. The result was Commander Shepard coming to Sheena’s rescue.
Even up to this day it still gets quite a few laughs. Apparently it’s one of the better ideas for crossovers I’ve come up with. And it was done just in time for Valentine’s, too.

This is a project I cooked up while in my first DIGM class of the year at ETSU. It was a storytelling sequence in which we had to add sound effects and other things like voice acting, and tell a story in 3 minutes roughly. This was my project. It was a freelancer and a couple of his friends who are hired to return a ship Navigator along with a combat droid to a docked starship. Got criticized that this was more movie like but I guess I can’t win them all. Got a good grade, so that counts.
EDIT 2018:
Little did I know this would be one of the cornerstones for developing Dawnstar as time went on. My characters would morph into more original versions and veer off into something that I would be pleased with. It’s interesting to look back and see how far it’s come from simple sketches and this storyboard concept, even.
This was real great to work on, I got to put my tablet to use coloring this awesome piece by ThePockyMonster! The Toon Link eyes are spot on, and Zelda looks pretty cool herself.

While I was on the fallout from all the friends I had, I had become strong in myself during the summer. That goes in varying degrees, but I took this photo one day while coming in after having gone for a run, snapping the photo. With me regarding Orion as a fighter/starship, I felt like a pilot pretty much. And the confidence showed; everyone both on dA and Facebook said I looked cool and collected. I wish the people I knew had the same thing to say; but hey, they’re not there, right?
This was a great art trade I did with a guy called Zipposhade. I drew one of my monster characters, and in return he drew me Jennifer . It has a strange almost caricature to it, which makes it even more interesting to look at. Thanks a bunch, buddy.
This was part of an art trade I did with deviant user Cam-Sama. I had drawn a rough sketch of her character Randy, and she had done my Space Raptors character MTech with a bughat girl. This came out real cute and it’s nice to see this sort of art style with said characters.
This was my 3rd attempt at spaceship pixel art back when I was starting to feel comfortable doing digital art. I took a lot of inspiration from Starblade and Project Dragoon in its design, wanting something sleek and more airplane looking. Done in MS Paint and with a trackball mouse!
