A Big Chemistry Trio

I started this piece back in February, which was supposed to be my Valentine’s Day art. Unfortunately I got sick the same night I made most of my progress, and it seems every time I opened it, I really did get sick with something the day right after.

So I didn’t touch it for a few months. Having an impending event that took place a day ago, I decided to just go ahead and try to get it done.

In irony, this is getting done on the start of my 40th birthday. That was not planned coincidence.

Either way, my redhead character Katie and generic OC species and cultures to accompany her on a girl’s night out. Very friendly faces, they want to hang out with you and let you know that things will be okay for the future.

I listened to Frutiger Dillon – Big Chemistry countless times on loop when working on this, hence the art’s name. I originally was planning to do a Frutiger Aero styled piece, but I felt impressed to dip back towards sci-fi as I finished the background. Still, there’s a lot of influence of the aero style on the architecture.

Forgotten Station – Demo

This got recommended to me on Youtube when the trailer came out, and thought it didn’t hurt to give it a try. Super interesting art style! Although the last stamp was hidden and it wasn’t clear what you were supposed to do at first. I think if I had that upfront, the demo would’ve taken me less than 10 minutes.

ReShine – Demo

Playing this demo immediately reminded me of those vintage restorer channels on Youtube. It was definitely less frustrating than Power Wash Simulator, and the controls were pretty nice. The reticle actually sprayed the stuff where you pointed it.

While the playtest wasn’t gifted to me, thanks to SilverSaberius to pointing me in the right direction.

Order of Sinking Star – Demo

While I’m bad at the puzzles for “The Witness”, I loved the art style of the game and enjoyed wandering around this strange island with puzzles. So when I saw that the original devs were doing a direct sequel, I just had to give it a try!

I didn’t get too far with the demo, and hopefully this gives you an idea of what the new game is like. Honestly it’s a big departure from the original title, and I think this would’ve worked better as a standalone title in the same universe, rather than a Witness #2.

Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library! Walkthrough

Here’s another playthrough, thanks to a generous donation by an online friend! I’d seen this game go around with memes, but wasn’t sure if I was up to it until it was gifted.

Truth be told I really botched up my first playthrough, and took well over 5+ hours to get to the end; and didn’t get all the shelves organized. So I aimed for a redo, and was able to snag the 3 hours achievement once I got the hang of it. I’m going through a 3rd playthrough at the moment so I get 100% of Steam achievements.

There may be a pause or two that I missed during editing, otherwise the playthrough’s uninterrupted.

Summer is Almost Here (2026)

This was a lot less of “I’m drinking a Jarritos”, and more of the cool effect that the bottle had while porch sitting. Hence this getting stuck in the Camera Roll.

Summer is still a week away, but I’m already feeling the higher temperatures. Doing the porch workstation thing has already become problematic with said weather.

Still, you can put Will Smith’s “Summertime” to play without worrying that it isn’t summer. So go ahead and give that a go.

ReStory PlayTest

So I actually did have this in queue, but I had been waiting a bit until I had a mix of other content. With June just arriving, I’ll let it go live.

Thanks to SilverSaberius for not only providing an Early Access key, but also the recommendation to play this game. Sorry I didn’t get to it sooner!

The overall experience wasn’t bad at all. I did have a bug at first where the mouse didn’t want to move past the repair area, but other than that nice music, and a more cozy, PC Building Simulator type of playstyle.

Deserts of Kharak – Robuster Multiplayer 1

Believe it or not, I’m actually hitting the bottom of my backlog for uploading. Guess it’s time to make some new videos.

This is one of the first multiplayer matches my brother and I did back with Deserts of Kharak. While my main content for this game will go to my other channel, I kept the few co-op multiplayer bits we did to share here.

Eateries – Orange Chicken and Chow Mein

While I’ve briefly had Panda Express before at my data entry job, I gave the recently constructed one in Greeneville a go with my own volition. My own pick, my own desires.

I ended up with their most common chicken with noodles.

It’s not a bad taste, and I actually do like how the chow mein noodles roll around in your mouth. It’s definitely a big departure than most of the lo mein noodles I’ve been having from local offerings.

Honestly, some recent events at China Buffet is also led me to stop by here. It’s not a 100% replacement as their menu has greater tasting things such as the spring rolls, but the recent debacle with the egg drop soup has left me a bit slack-jawed. You still get a tad bit more food for the same price unless ordering something bigger, but a small to-go bowl + drive thru is comparable in price to a loaded takeout tray.

It seems more and more the places I frequent are just turning like the rest of the locality, and the only respite is a big shiny “corpo” building with a big name brand. While it may be overpriced and crappy, aforementioned events are at a minimum for the most part…mostly. Yes, there are exceptions to that rule. I may elaborate one day.

Stop by if you wish to be expressed by the panda. At least while the building is all new and shiny.

Ah! I’ve you’ve somehow happened across this post, you’re likely a soul on the hunt for a mysterious driver for an even more mysterious card.

Look no further, as I hope that the author’s own forging into this path may be assistance to you. Come, Atlantean technical expertise should set light on this matter…

Okay, so down to business. I’ll keep it short as it’s a pointer, not a tutorial. Then I’ll explain anything afterwards.

You likely bought a funny looking, but lifesaving PCIe card off of Amazon or some other retailer. It had a Gigabit ethernet jack and some USB ports (either USB A 3.0 or USB-C), and would fit into a PCI Express (PCIe) 1x slot.

You also happen to be looking for a driver for it in this modern day and age.
