Orcs Must Die 3 #11 – A Tedious Castle Funnel

While I’ve been posting these regularly, this is the first time he had a hiatus. So we just picked this back up in November awhile back. It’s getting a bit harder to land headshots on the bigger guys now.

This castle was a pain, and we both agreed we’ll do a redo at some both. But I got the go-ahead to release this since we didn’t lose, and so much time’s passed by.

Orcs Must Die 3 #10 – Set All Traps in the Smallest Space

While I’ve been posting these regularly, this is the first time he had a hiatus. So we just picked this back up in November awhile back. It’s getting a bit harder to land headshots on the bigger guys now.

What was tricky with this piece, was how expansive most of the map was. So our strategy was to set all the traps near the end, then snip as people got closer. Tedious, but we could plug the holes the best.

Gears of War 01 – It’s About High Time

I’ve been wanting to do a playthrough of this game since 2017, and have wanted to actually play this game for a lot longer. I first got a taste of this game in 2008, but was rudely told by a BCM pastor that “this game shouldn’t be in our building because of the curse words.” That makes sense, but it killed me wanting to check out the game for years.

I originally was going to do a playthrough with this in 2017 when I had the town setup, but I never got past my backlog. But now that I have my own Xbox 360, I’m starting on actual video game content. Do apologize that you had to wait 5 and some years for that.

I’ve had several audio and recording issues while putting this playthrough together, and you may hear some clicking with the audio on this; I sincerely apologize. I’ve already played the first mission over 4 times already trying to get it to work straight, and I about tossed my hands up to not even do playthroughs anymore. I’m still sorting out the hardware, the second part should be better I hope.

Eateries – Grandpa’s Country Fried Breakfast

I don’t think I’ve actually cataloged an eatery from Cracker Barrel, but here we go.

I ended up at the Cracker Barrel in Strawberry Plains. I decided to grab something different from pancakes this time around; Grandpa’s Country Fried Breakfast, mostly because I got two eggs and fried meat. I took hash as my side, and the gravy didn’t go too bad with the fried steak.

I actually forgot how the coffee tasted beforehand, as it’s been before COVID since I stopped in at any Cracker Barrel. It wasn’t bad, could be better but was great in a pinch.

Not a bad stop for being around to eat something in the morning.

Unlikely Desk Buddies

On a random whim, I realized that my Halo Elite was almost as tall as my Pyrrha figure.

With figure bases and both warriors in the line of duty, I had to put the two together to pose.

It’s safe to say while most of the Internet wants Covenant to shoot at, I’m still carrying the near-twenty-year-old tradition of Sangheili being friendly aliens.

Towers of Dice

When my online buddy wayc found out that dice towers were a thing, he challenged me to stack all of mine together.

This was the end result. It wasn’t anything fancy; green dice was a gift from my sister, center set is something I bought from a Chattanooga Books-A-Million ages ago (sat as a shelf decoration), and the set on the right was one he sent as a Christmas gift.

Seeing his gift in ‘action’ made this day, suffice to say.

He then challenged me to stack all three together in one big tower, but that didn’t go anywhere unfortunately. I did try, though!

Stray 02 – Casual Rooftop Jumping

We finally reach the first sign of intelligent life! Although robots who drink liquor with no stomachs is concerning.

I did get lost here a little bit, but I didn’t just want to default to a guide and was genuinely exploring the experience. So I apologize if sniffing around causes some hair-pulling.
