This was something I did in 1998, after a very notable lunar eclipse that took at the time. I specifically remember it was my first lunar eclipse ever, and the church my parents were going to made a big deal out of it; specifically because it was signaling that fall was going to arrive or the like.
While I don’t remember much about the actual event, I remember just being amazed at how red the moon looked. It wasn’t a total eclipse from where we were at. and there wasn’t even a porch to stand on in front of the house. Just seeing the moon in the strange glow above the house was mystifying.
The date isn’t 100% of when this was complete, but the paper did have “98” on it and a stellar cartography site listed a lunar eclipse in September of that year. So that is a semi-precise estimate of when this was created.
