I’m not sure when this conversation took place exactly, but it was sometime during this month at some point.
I was chatting with someone, and they said that they didn’t know what the weather was outside. They also had no plans to go out that day, and concluded that’s where the matter would be.
I suggested that they could look out a window and know. That would solve the mystery, right?
Nope. I received this:

Yesterday I realized a lot of things. One of them was that autumn was really here.
It was chilly, the wind was blowing, and it was cold enough I considered a jacket. Some of the pumpkin plants had already died, and the only things that were left were other pumpkins, jalapeno peppers, okra, and a lettuce.
I discovered what I thought to be spinach turned out to be an echinacea flower. I was surprised. I had waited months and months to see what the “mystery plant” was, knowing it wasn’t a normal vegetable of some sort. I sense an object lesson but can’t seem to find it…probably need to reflect more.
So much time has passed…a lot of things have happened, but big picture wise, a lot of things just seem to revert back to normal, with a negative effect following. I found a written journal that I haven’t done anything with in 20 months. School assignments from Geography keep popping up here and there. Hair from my cosplay wig showed up last night…it’s all a reminder of the past four years of my life.
I’m in a reflective but regretful mood, but still looking what can be done, and how to leave to where I need to go…

I rode up with my cousin to visit him for the day, as I’ve never seen his setup since he moved to UT Knoxville. He gave me a tour of the grounds, and I got to see this pretty spiffy museum, called the McClung Museum.
I don’t know the deal or name of the sculpture, but it was definitely eye-catching if not more. But it was nice to see “abstract sculpture” when randomly walking around East Tennessee. It had some class and style to it, like if you went to Books a Million. That’s a change from all the people statues you see in Greeneville everywhere.

My name's Janeil.
