First Comics Test

I’m still fooling around with the Wacom tablet. I came to the point to try this; I guess I wanted to try making some sort of comics after seeing some fan ones on deviantART float around. It took me ages to come up with this; I think I need a new computer that doesn’t lag when I draw.

Solaria Novus Fanart

This was a fanart I churned out in the last week of December, hoping to give some sort of visual to go along with the Solaria Novus. I head teamed up with a bunch of people off of Youtube, and that’s what actually got me started to go down the path there to do things. Who knows? I can’t wait to see the final project done!

Either rate we have the main characters of the audio play; Ruri from the new Nadesico movie, Lloyd Nebulon from Lloyd in Space, Fillmore from his show’s sake. In the back is the old Normandy from the first Mass Effect game, given the Airport Mania treatment with the face for added effect.

One of these days I may color this. But for the time being, it’ll remain in its infamy the way it is; a sketch.

Are You Happy Now? 2009 Meme

So far my Wacom tablet’s been interesting. But how versatile can it be? I put this together in one take tonight, as a way to welcome 2010. I animated each frame in MS Paint, but drew a lot of this with the tablet. Animation frames are a thing. Also that’s my cousin, not me as he could use some nice company for recent events.

Happy New Year!

Eateries – Christmas Eve Alfredo

For Christmas Eve we had alfredo. Spiffy enough, though I helped with it this time around. Bean sprouts included on the side, because it obviously has to be healthy.

The plate and fork are my specific doing, these were “zen” utensils I bought at Pier 1 earlier that year to try to adapt to feng shuei, in an attempt to be “calm”. It was tricky eating the alfredo with a wooden bamboo fork, but it was interesting to say the least.

Marth vs. Zelda – 1

So my cousin and I have a little competition, and we pitted our best fighters against each other from Super Smash: Brawl. And this was the result!

Princess Zelda – Me

Marth – Medhavin

I’m not sure when this conversation took place exactly, but it was sometime during this month at some point.

I was chatting with someone, and they said that they didn’t know what the weather was outside. They also had no plans to go out that day, and concluded that’s where the matter would be.

I suggested that they could look out a window and know. That would solve the mystery, right?

Nope. I received this:

“I don’t do windows.”

Stardate 6009.09.28.16.26.32

Yesterday I realized a lot of things. One of them was that autumn was really here.

It was chilly, the wind was blowing, and it was cold enough I considered a jacket. Some of the pumpkin plants had already died, and the only things that were left were other pumpkins, jalapeno peppers, okra, and a lettuce.

I discovered what I thought to be spinach turned out to be an echinacea flower. I was surprised. I had waited months and months to see what the “mystery plant” was, knowing it wasn’t a normal vegetable of some sort. I sense an object lesson but can’t seem to find it…probably need to reflect more.

So much time has passed…a lot of things have happened, but big picture wise, a lot of things just seem to revert back to normal, with a negative effect following. I found a written journal that I haven’t done anything with in 20 months. School assignments from Geography keep popping up here and there. Hair from my cosplay wig showed up last night…it’s all a reminder of the past four years of my life.

I’m in a reflective but regretful mood, but still looking what can be done, and how to leave to where I need to go…
