Happy Valentine’s Day! This is the second image in this series, had a lot of fun getting this one ready.

The third and my second favorite out of this entire Touhou Disney series I’ve been working on. I went a little bit above and beyond on this one, might go and redo the others.

Barely got this one done in time for year’s end, but a continuation of the Disney Touhou idea I’ve been working on. Here Paola and I did Alice over with Marisa Kirisame. Frankly we both like the result!

For the first time since I graduated from college, I broke out my Bamboo tablet to try to work on something; a commissioned fanart of Michiko when I had just started the project. I managed to fit my Christmas tree on the desk, and had plenty of room to fit what I needed. It’s good to be home for the holidays; work has been nonsensical and stressed the past two months.
I’ll upload a completed image of that work when I get it done.
For my first company dinner, the group went out to Timberwood Grill. It actually was a great place to eat, and I had spiffy food of buffalo wings, along with fish and chips. All in all it was a good experience, and I would recommend.
Right before snapping this picture, a coworker was announcing that “I was taking pictures of my food” in a mocking and obnoxious manner. Yeah, whats-your-name. I will take pictures of my food if I like. Just the same way you can take dozens of photos of your kids.
Personal advice from me. Let people mind their own business in peace sometimes, and don’t be a loudmouth about it just because you can. Thank you.
Earlier this year, I had attended the ETSU Cultural Festival, which was pretty spiffy. I ran out of phone space while recording, but I got the intro and this guy from Kenya doing a breakdance (which got cut off because I ran out of space). Either rate, I hope your appreciate my attempts to document this event.
Original Film Date, April 2013.
So with my newfound job, one of the things I’ve been doing in trying to stack up on all my favorite books I read while I was younger. These two books I loved to death, as they dealt with mysterious, unknown things. The Universe in a Nutshell helped me understand astronomical and cosmology concepts quite a bit, too. I’m glad to finally own these!
While I was back in ETSU, I followed a girl by the name of MellasFenixxes on deviantART. I loved her stuff and while I kept tabs on it, never thought about commissioning her till my first job started. Over the summer I was brave enough to ask her to commission a long-standing idea I had, some of the Disney girls dressed up in the outfits from Touhou. The first one we worked on was Esmeralda; this was the final result after I went back a few times to fix the background.

I’ve yet to find the full Lacus Clyne figure of her normal outfit for less than $100, but I snagged this on an online sale recently; Lacus in a spacesuit! She’s a bit bigger than most of my other Gundam figures, and I love her pose. Too bad she can’t stay on the desk, though.
Either way, girls in spacesuits equal win. Definitely don’t regret this snatch.
Finally getting an upgrade! Just swapped to this iPhone 5S today, so this’ll be interesting. This is actually the first time I’m buying my own phone, so it’s a first for me. Still sticking to that Otterbox goodness; kept me out of trouble the first time around, and hopefully it’ll do the same this time.
So yes, this is my last photo with my old phone. Signing off for now.
