I’m not sure when this conversation took place exactly, but it was sometime during this month at some point.
I was chatting with someone, and they said that they didn’t know what the weather was outside. They also had no plans to go out that day, and concluded that’s where the matter would be.
I suggested that they could look out a window and know. That would solve the mystery, right?
Nope. I received this:
“I don’t do windows.”
I wasn’t sure how to respond to that, honestly.
As little as that conversation was, I believe that will stick with me for the rest of my life. Not as a doctrine to follow; but something to do something to “do as an opposite.”
Look around extra, do check the window for the weather. Turn the corner to see what’s there.
This isn’t “go way beyond”, for what it’s worth. This is “look at least” to a point, if that’s what you need.

NOTE: Future Janeil here. When rounding this up, this is indeed a half-joke after trying to find if this was a reference I missed at some point. It was, and was unaware of it thanks to a lack of daily TV.
“I don’t do windows” is a phrase to mean “It’s out of my responsibility.” My more seasoned, older self reads this as sarcastic humor, which matched the person that I was talking to. This also would then make this entry’s import null.
But, if someone’s joke motivated me, then it was worthy to note. It’s being put live with that clarification.
