Didn’t have a WIP of this when I was working on it, but this was my other midterm work that I did while in Basic Design 1. We had to then create something from scratch with imagination, but use “building blocks” to create the work from real life references. In that, it couldn’t be completely conjured up in your mind.
The theme we were given was legendary/mythical creatures.
Definitely had to do a lot of research on cobras to make this piece, and had this collage of photos that I worked with until the end of the project. The teacher was super-strict on using real-life references, so it had to be around at all times.
This was a B-grade for me, if I recall correctly.
