This is my piece that I did for Bozocow’s Homeworld Anniversary stream! It got congratulated as an in-between of the old and new Karan. First time my stuff was featured in a video. Took me quite a bit, but I was very happy with it in the end.
This is fanart for a series of old, educational videos from the 90s; dubbed the Assistant Professor: Trip to the Inner/Outer Planets. I recently rediscovered these through a listing on eBay, which was the old VHS of the outer Planets episode. .
From a comment of a friend, I actually found that the original company was around, and I reached out to them about the show. A guy wrote back stating his daughter voiced the Nina character, and the head animator of the show voiced the computer. It was an interesting exchange, never thinking I’d even talk to the people behind it. .
I did this little fanart as appreciation in my response back. I never heard back from them, so I hope you guys enjoy the effort of this partial lost show. I’ve linked an Amazon link here of the listing to help you track it down if you like.
I put this together after RPG Tales made a persona for his channel. Here elven versions of Marios and Yorina pose with said persona. That is a moustache on him, yes.
My life’s been changed a little bit, and I’m a bit more busy than usual this month. I’m starting to draw a bit different now, and tonight after being moved by Ori and Will of the Wisps, decided to do a piece on Ku. It was a real cute character to work on, and even got me a Reddit Silver badge. Slowly but surely, I’m getting there.
It was only a matter of time till I did a proper stab at drawing Baby Yoda. Specifically did this for my cousin, as he’s obsessed over the character. Admittedly I love the character too, and so does my DnD group. They all refer to him as “BABS” (yes, in all caps.).
I did this several days ago, but I didn’t want to show it till it popped up on Bozocow’s 24-hour Homeworld stream last night. And to my pleasant surprise, he did!
This is my take on the new figure that showed up in the official announcement trailer, which I am assuming is Karan (or at least another S’jet). I absolutely love the hair design, and she kind of looked all wise and ancient with a nice female touch, mixed with this space age tech such as the interface plug and light ring.
I’m getting better at full pieces! Though I need to stop taking 3 hours on something like this and work more efficiently.
For having done some sort of Zelda doodles in the day, I’ve never really done any Homeworld fanart that I can recall (or at least, something serious and canon-related). I first was introduced to this series in 2008, and it is one of the most influential space strategy games I’ve ever played; so that needs to be remedied.
With Homeworld’s 20th anniversary coming up (along with the announcement of their 3rd game earlier this month), I did this as all I could think about was Karan S’jet and her “Banana Boat”, a nickname which many Homeworld players dub the Hiigaran/Kushan mothership. This led to the fruits on her head; the other objects are some items that some Homeworld players have jokingly mentioned she’d have in her tank in passing.
Indirect credit goes to DeepChrome, who had done a comic back in the old RelicNews days featuring Karan as the “BananaQueen”.
As thanks for doing a video on my antiMLM comics, I drew this bit of fanart for Youtuber iiluminaughtii. I’ve dumped it into her fanart Discord, so it might just end up in a video! Who knows?
This was gift art to KobaltWolf, admin of a Zelda fan page and a streamer of Overwatch. She absolutely loves Hanzo and after a joke about “forgetting how to princess”, I knew I had to draw the two together.
Thankfully cweinmanart was there to help me out, and this was the result of that idea. Kobalt loved it and even uses for her Discord and streams. Cool!
This took a while to get realized, but I finally got this put together after this meme was passing around on 9GAG. Also apparently some other people carry on the same commentary as well, since all you do is stand, point and click.
However far it goes, at least it’s been visualized! Also was fun to do the obnoxious cover in style with those 90’s games. A lot of Cluefinders and those types of stuff I drew inspiration from.
