Got a bit inspired to do some stuff after my trip, and drummed these up! Here’s some of my characters in black and with gear, ready for some action with a experimental ride. Featured are Emma (blonde) and Peepee (blue hair). Admittedly, some old stories about the Skunkworks is what inspired me to do this.

Bradley Touchless Sink System – KTRI
When I came back from Florida, we had to return the rental vehicle to KTRI, or Tri-Cities Regional. I made a bathroom stop and noticed this wonderful setup; touchless water and soap dispenser by Bradley. But the most impressive part? The air dryer for hands being put in the sink. So no water everywhere like a regular dysonBlade or the like. That light also helps to kill germs.
Nice going, TRI. I approve of this.
On the Road – Pirate’s Cove Gold Course
So when Christina and I went to to play putt putt golf on my last day, we went to Pirate’s Cove Golf Course. The last time I played putt putt golf was in someplace in Newport in 2006; while that course wasn’t bad, the circumstances were a lot different and less enjoyable.
I had a ton of fun here, had someone I knew to some degree teaching me the game and got to play in mild weather. It was really great, and someplace I do recommend people visiting!
Eateries – @ The Diner – Breakfast Spread

While at the family get-together in Florida, we had to eat someplace! I already showcased wonderful Chinese food just a few blocks from the hotel, so now I’ll showcase yet another eatery.
This is called @ The Diner! (pronouncing the @ symbol as “at”, so “At the Diner.”) Sort of posh, very diverse menu. Super packed, enough that we had waited in line to get inside. Food was lightly pricey (be prepared to drop more than $20 on anything).
I grabbed toast, wedge fries and a cheese mushroom omelette. You can’t go wrong with cheese omelettes.
There was definitely poor phone reception in the establishment; I swear there was an EMP jammer nearby for the phones not working. Let’s just say that someone asked for rainbow waffles, and we didn’t get their message until we left the parking lot.
Either way, 7 out of 10. Any lacking stars is for affordability on a low budget and the phone nonsense. Food was good. From my past Waffle House experience, this was less salty but really well made in comparison to the House’s standard fare.
GPS coordinates below if you want to go check them out.
Eateries – Shrimp Lo Mein and Chicken Wings
It’s been a good bit since I’ve eaten lo mein made with meat inside of it, and most of those times it ends up in disaster (usually being rancid). But on my outing to Orlando, we had Chinese takeout for dinner. I took shrimp lo mein with some chicken wings as my dish.
To my utter surprise, the entire thing was fantastic. The noodles were very tasty, the shrimp great and the chicken wings even greater. I unfortunately didn’t get to have them again before I left, but I highly recommend checking China Tea out, right in the Publix Shopping Plaza off of University Dr. I loved it so much, I’m even giving you GPS coordinates to go find them yourself. Enjoy.
On the Road – Florida Orlando Trip
My parents are attending an anniversary party for one of my Dad’s relatives, and have asked me to help them drive down. While I would prefer a solo road trip, getting to clock some Interstate hours is something I’m always up to. Just grabbing some sleep before my shift starts on the first leg, but looks like I have a long way to go.

Company Underneath a Mysterious Sky
This was part of my Secret Santa that I am way behind on actually finishing. But this was for a pal I met a few years ago for her Christmas gift, picturing the two of us (self-portrait!) poking around in the mysterious bowels of the Internet late at night. I originally was going to go the “ancient alien/mysteries” route and depict some artifacts, but I wasn’t able to settle on a museum design I liked.
Hopefully this comes a close second. More serene than mysterious, but I was pretty happy with it.
Best of the Decade 2010-2019
I saw this going around on Instagram and deviantART, so I decided to hop on and do it myself. Here’s my collage of art in a decade.
As you can see, it varies up and down, but only has taken big steps in the last 2ish years. My art was on the cusp of going forward in 2013, then I regressed and it was like I started drawing from scratch all over again to a point. I know I’m very glad with the progress I made, but I feel like it’s progress I should’ve made when I was 6-7 years younger, not when I’m in my early 30s’.
Better late than never, however! Here’s to 2020 being a year I make good milestones and outproduce what I did previously! I think constant work hours has to do with me getting better.
