I sincerely apologize with the quality on this, but my recording equipment wasn’t cooperating with me. This was my 3rd time re-recording due to some technical issue. I finally had to use a Twitch-quality file output; nevertheless, enjoy. Equipment upgrades are in order.

ETSU Cultural Festival 2013 – Opening & Kenyan Breakdance
Earlier this year, I had attended the ETSU Cultural Festival, which was pretty spiffy. I ran out of phone space while recording, but I got the intro and this guy from Kenya doing a breakdance (which got cut off because I ran out of space). Either rate, I hope your appreciate my attempts to document this event.

ETSU DIGM – Motion Tools 2 Final
This was my final project for Motion Tools 2 class. Greenscreen and composites! I tried to go for a half-cyberpunk feel with the music and setup. If anything, this was fun at least.

ETSU Classwork – Visual Thinking Storyboard Animatic Project
This is a project I cooked up while in my first DIGM class of the year at ETSU. It was a storytelling sequence in which we had to add sound effects and other things like voice acting, and tell a story in 3 minutes roughly. This was my project. It was a freelancer and a couple of his friends who are hired to return a ship Navigator along with a combat droid to a docked starship. Got criticized that this was more movie like but I guess I can’t win them all. Got a good grade, so that counts.
EDIT 2018:
Little did I know this would be one of the cornerstones for developing Dawnstar as time went on. My characters would morph into more original versions and veer off into something that I would be pleased with. It’s interesting to look back and see how far it’s come from simple sketches and this storyboard concept, even.
Are You Happy Now? 2009 Meme
So far my Wacom tablet’s been interesting. But how versatile can it be? I put this together in one take tonight, as a way to welcome 2010. I animated each frame in MS Paint, but drew a lot of this with the tablet. Animation frames are a thing. Also that’s my cousin, not me as he could use some nice company for recent events.
