Before I left home this evening, I saw how the lighting was hitting against my Sheena figure. It looked real nice, and also figured out I’d test the camera out on the iPhone. Color me surprised, it exceeds that of the HP717 I’ve been using for so many years.

Well, she has the entire desk to herself this Memorial Weekend. Maybe she’ll poke at Mass Effect behind her. Now if she could do other stuff in the meantime that’d be useful.

Word can’t quite describe what’s going through my head at the moment; I’m finally moving to somewhere else to go to ETSU! Definitely uncertain territory I’m heading into, but I’m also eager and excited. At least I’ll know some familiar faces up there, as my cousin and sister will be attending. Too bad I don’t have a roommate, though.

As I still have two more whole months till school stars, the process will be slow and drawn-out in between of work. But the process has begun, nonetheless. It’s official; I have another place than the rural country backwoods of Parrottsville to call home, even if its for a little while.

When I went out with the Morristown BCM group today, I made this Dumpshake mascot for Sean, who’s Halo handle is his namesake. So when he was busy chatting it up with his other BCM buddies, I took his cup, drew this face then used my cup to make the head and antenna.

At the time he approved. That was enough for me, as nobody except two kids in that group actually cared for my humor or art.

When looking to do some Christmas shopping this season, I ran across this oddity; a trailer for the UPS trucks! I never saw one of these before, so I definitely had to grab a picture of it. I guess the mall had a lot of business this season.

This caught my eye; apparently one of my chemistry classmates drives a yellow Ford Focus, and has the Rebel Alliance symbol plastered near her driver’s door. I’m usually late for class and it’s a bit darker out, but I did want to grab a photo of it; to be honest, that’s the first time I’ve seen anyone have any sort of fandom on their car of this nature.

I’ve had some people asking me about Orion’s interior, specifically the inside. So I decided to grab this shot before I headed out; considering it’s Monday and all. So what’s going on here?

Well first, you get quad power outlets, leather boot for the shifter, pedal plates, steering wheel cover, rubber liner for the handbrake well and while it’s not visible, a temperature/compass/clock on the floor of the console. I also have a neck brace on the seat belt to make it more comfortable when driving long distance.

Upper section you get to see my radar detector (which works better as a scanner for everything else BUT police radar), a notepad to jot down something quick and an dolphin amulet I had bought from Pigeon Forge a few years ago.

The blue switch does light up, and controls the runner lights on the windshield sprayer nozzles; they’re a bright blue, and illegal to drive with in Tennessee. So I have a manual switch to control them separately from the main lights. The hole to the left of it was for another switch that toggles with a nice green light, and is supposed to be setup for a pair of fog lights in the near future.

So yes, my cockpit ladies and gentlemen. Now you know what it’s like to be at Orion’s helm.

As far as I know, this was the first time I actually started taking pictures of my food. It wasn’t something I did very often then, but more as a historical kind of documenting moment. I don’t have a lot of photos showing what I did in my teen years, so anything that exists is almost a big peek into my past; even if it’s an insignificant thing as what I ate.

Here, we have fried chicken, mac and cheese and a cup of water. Usually paid about $2 for all of this, and bought it during my 15-minute break. The only time I wouldn’t buy this is if the deli was closed, which was after 5PM. In that case I’d revert back to candy or something else.

I took me a bit to get this up here, but a guy I knew out of Astronomy class snapped this with his camera, back when we were building our traffic cone for the Walters State drunk driving event. Traditional film, black and white. About a week afterwards he gave me a print, which I did drag my feet to post.

Either way, he thought it was funny that the res of us had our phones out taking photos.

Never got taken out in that kind of medium, I will admit!
