Inktober 2019 – #6 Husky
I think this is the first time I drew any sort of dog in awhile, and it actually came out properly. Drawing from observation does wonders.
Much fluff, very husky. Wow.

My first entry into Inktober, Poisonous! I know it seems like it’s just a pitcher plant (and those drown their prey rather than poison them), but I thought it’d be a good concept. So I made a poisonous one with dangerous toxins wafting out of it, along with some poisonous berries!
When I started to do art for the Mobius PVE group, this was a nonsense doodle I spat out one evening, a few weeks after winning their art contest. It didn’t grab a lot of heads but it was still hilarious and a few people got some giggles out of it.
Something random and silly I drummed up when sending someone an e-mail. Yes, Kashri have purple tongues.
In the geek/nerd/anime community, there’s a pun that goes around that “if you’re a virgin when you hit 30, you’ll become a wizard.” I fall into that category. However one night I was chatting with an ex-coworker, she mentioned that I was also a “tech wizard” in addition to that. I figured I’d embrace it it was going to happen regardless, and this happened. Now if my monitors would only stand up like that.
This was something I cooked up the same evening I got my used Intuos 4 tablet. I had also just bought a brush pack for traditional oil/watercolor patterns, so I was giving that a whirl too. This was quick and rough, nothing too developed. Also was trying to get used to using a big tablet like that at the time as well.
Loving my new Bamboo tablet so far, but I really need to get ahold of actually how to draw with one. While incomplete, this was my first creation; sue me for being a fan of Airport Mania. Those faces and blabbing the planes do are just straight-down adorable.
This only came about because I was left with this Telus paper to doodle with. As I was getting into the Zelda fandom, I really did like the idea of Zelda going around with Link on his adventures. So this idea of him seeing his villainous bunny, makes him wonder if there’s a powerup waiting for him after defeating it.
When I went out with the Morristown BCM group today, I made this Dumpshake mascot for Sean, who’s Halo handle is his namesake. So when he was busy chatting it up with his other BCM buddies, I took his cup, drew this face then used my cup to make the head and antenna.
At the time he approved. That was enough for me, as nobody except two kids in that group actually cared for my humor or art.
