When I opened my Discord server months ago for buddies, my pal Taranava had made the suggestion I draw my bug girls as baristas, one of them brandishing weapons. I loved the concept and obliged recently, and have now pronounced the two as the server’s official mascots. I’ve yet to give them names, but I think they’re a bit too inspired by Gura and Ina from Hololive.

A long time ago my DnD buddy Karomaz had a concept for a game, involving a tiefling paladin and his kobold alchemist. This was always just a joke doodle for months, but when I got that post-birthday art streak, took a proper stab at the idea.
.
This is tiefling paladin Lillith, Champion of Calistra under the Patfhinder 2e rules. And her sidekick is Flakk, a kobold who scraps with dirty tactics. What future awaits for them? We’ll find out and see.

So in my custom tabletop CoC game, I feature several of the cast from my Heather and Janus Fairytale settings. One of these is Maddie, Elizabeth’s sister. She helped co-manage a tavern by the name of The Nosy Ram, named after Fluff. She was a bit of a source of information for the players, who often visited her establishment.

.

One of her favorite things to do was to grab a chair and sit with the players, often flipping the chair and sitting backwards on it. A few of them found this hilarious, and the players associated this posture with the character. They also dubbed this after the famous “Riker Maneuver”, in which Will Riker sweeps his leg to it over a chair. So I decided to quickly draw this out for them.

.

One thing’s for sure; Janus and Heather have a pretty eccentric aunt. Pretty sure she makes Elizabeth facepalm quite a bit, too.

So when I run my Call of Cthulhu Ellowwood flavored game, I often try to make artwork and such for the guys. They hit a milestone in which one of their original group had to leave (they had a new job IRL), and had a small respite after beating their objective of a major plot boss. This is all who survived at one of the player’s farm, with their NPC sidekick Caroline. I have a replacement lined up for them thankfully, and they’ll engage in main quest lines once they get a new player. So only time will tell.

.

I need to start drawing full scenes like this more often. Still evolving with the way I draw, but since January have been losing the will to actually doodle things. Hopefully it’s seasonal.

One of the last bits of art from my first tabletop campaign. I actually did start this sometime in December of 2019, but with pandemic, the group quitting their play sessions and such, I never got around to finishing it. This night was the exception; while on voice chat with the ninja rogue from that same group, I worked on finally finishing this.

.

The journey’s been long over and it’s an interesting place to be 1 and some years later, but happy hunting, wherever your adventures will take you.

This is fanart for a series of old, educational videos from the 90s; dubbed the Assistant Professor: Trip to the Inner/Outer Planets. I recently rediscovered these through a listing on eBay, which was the old VHS of the outer Planets episode.
.

From a comment of a friend, I actually found that the original company was around, and I reached out to them about the show. A guy wrote back stating his daughter voiced the Nina character, and the head animator of the show voiced the computer. It was an interesting exchange, never thinking I’d even talk to the people behind it.
.

I did this little fanart as appreciation in my response back. I never heard back from them, so I hope you guys enjoy the effort of this partial lost show. I’ve linked an Amazon link here of the listing to help you track it down if you like.

I put this together this week. I’ve been wanting to show how my Notikan race functions in a more normal environment, rather than “just standing up and being popey”, to quote an online buddy. This was a result of that, showing one greeting a pilot to his vehicle, having the role of a technician or sorts.

Thanks to @elucidator_arts for the figure lineart.

For 2020’s NanoWrimo reboot, I decided to reboot my old Vigilance series, which is the first story I had ever made the 50K requirement for. I wanted a nice thumb to convey what I was going for when someone visited the page, so I accomplished that, at least!

Here you have the protagonist’s two love interests, along with a shot of the aerial battleship the story revolves around. And since this takes place in the Bermuda Triangle, beach and ocean was appropriate.

If and when I do publish, it’ll have a more professionally done cover. Just something to give a visual representation as I work on it in the meantime.
