2020

It’s been quite a bit since I’ve actually had any announcements, and I’ve actually had a few to state since the holidays last year. But today I do have something a bit more business and serious to give an update on.

For awhile now, I’ve had a “Bad Client Clause” in my terms of service on my website, mainly pointed towards time-wasters and such. Don’t harass me, doxx me, that sort of stuff. Really basic kind of things.

I’ve never really had to point them and actually use them, but unfortunately that has changed in the past six months. Not only will I be pointing this out to future clients, but I’ve updated it to give me more protection and security. Specifically two issues:

  • If there is a milestone agreement, demanding the final-end product without paying the subsequent milestones
  • Attempting to seek out my personal information to call me on my cell phone, my friends, or personal online presence (or other connection) for a non-emergency manner.

I had a clause in my terms for something of the sort in general, but I am specifically spelling and pointing it out now.

What does this mean?

For once, I actually get my Valentines art done! Please stay happy out there today. I know it may seem crummy if you’re single (I am, I know all too well how that feels), but it’ll work out. Improve yourself and be active about changing being single, if that’s what you want. That last bit is extremely important. Fingers crossed we’ll both get somewhere one day.

EDIT: I was told by my an online friend “to stop giving the bug girls guns.” I may or may not heed that suggestion.

So it’s stuck. From my last game, it’s now a running joke that this will be a murder mystery. I even spammed the NCIS theme in the group chat when I dropped this. It made my DM laugh, which means at least I had some humor.

So, can an edgy hacker (DM), a reckless detective (friend) and a by-the-book desk agent (me) solve the murder at the inn in Plaguestone? Join us on CSI: Plaguestone.

So I’ve not really told or shared my adventures that I’ve been playing with Pathfinder, but I recently started playing The Fally of Plaguestone, an official 2e module that my DM’s friend decided to run. I decided to use the character I made after Yorina’s mom, which clashes but is hilarious with everyone else’s characters. I’m frequently called “The Pope” (gee, I wonder why?) and kind of had a bit of bad luck with some bad rolls. Otherwise, still in one piece and having fun so far.

So the last game we had a big brawl in a bar this evening, and me and my friend decided to clobber a drunk farmer who was starting trouble. The farmer took a chair, called Marios a little lady and whacked Astrian over the head with it. In return, we both whacked him unconscious, before finding out our dwarven host died from poisoning. The DM’s friend mentioned that the bard was playing “banjo music” during this fight, and even requested that I draw this into the final piece. So I obliged and added him. As much as I don’t like things from where I live, I do think this song is extremely fitting to the scene, and can fully imagine it playing while the brawl plays.

What happens next? We’ll find out. It looks like it’ll be quite awhile, though.

The legend goes that when you build a dice tower, is that you’re bored and not engaging with the group. Our game was done at this point, but there was a lull and decided to put this together. I’m surprised it actually stayed up for awhile.

“Our world has some pretty creepy and scary things that we don’t understand. But you look up at the band in the evening sky, and realize that’s only a fraction of what you can’t grasp.”

Tried something new for Friday night, inspired by something I saw in an old college era folder. I’ll go back and revisit the head but hopefully it gets the point across.

To explain, Heather’s world is composed of several floating islands on a oxygen-based gas giant. Said planet has a ring system that can be seen in the later daylight and evening hours. So because of the world’s makeup, the sky always seems to appear a bit blue and purple when it’s dark, especially towards the the same hours. This means you have a very fascinating view to look up at.

Got a bit inspired to do some stuff after my trip, and drummed these up! Here’s some of my characters in black and with gear, ready for some action with a experimental ride. Featured are Emma (blonde) and Peepee (blue hair). Admittedly, some old stories about the Skunkworks is what inspired me to do this.

When I came back from Florida, we had to return the rental vehicle to KTRI, or Tri-Cities Regional. I made a bathroom stop and noticed this wonderful setup; touchless water and soap dispenser by Bradley. But the most impressive part? The air dryer for hands being put in the sink. So no water everywhere like a regular dysonBlade or the like. That light also helps to kill germs.

Nice going, TRI. I approve of this.
