I had just started playing Borderlands 2 on Xbox. Me being the creative fellow that I was, I drummed this up after falling in love with a long-barreled pistol in the game. That particular instance it was called the “Longarm”, hence the name.
I actually had a trigger but it tore off very easily when cutting the hole out. Oops.
Well, the time for me to graduate ETSU is finally here. In another hour I’ll have a Bachelor’s in Digital Media! Sitting here in the hall is like waiting in a dropship to be deployed. A life-changing moment for me to say the least. Let’s see what’s in store for me in the future.
I was not getting a lot of hands-on experience cooking fish, but living on my own was putting preparing food more squarely on my shoulders. One afternoon I finally got an almost perfect mix of breaded, pan-fried tilapia. Flavored with paprika, pepper and salt, I absolutely loved this, considering the last time I attempted this as a disaster. As I’m moving out of my place next week after graduation day, this will probably be one of the last big meals I’m cooking here unless I can top this off with something else.
During my 2nd to last week of college at ETSU, I was in the print lab getting ready to hand in some stuff for Typography. It was semi-bittersweet; I wanted out of school because it felt like I was just being stuck there and not accomplishing a whole bunch, but I loved how it felt being late spring and having a bit of roam in the print lab. I happened to look out the window and saw how nice the yard looked outside, and decided to grab a shot. You can see a bit of me in the mirror in the corner.
This was Ball Hall for those who was curious, 2nd floor I believe. I think this is looking north towards the big yard in front of Ball and Sam Wilson.
When leaving a student counseling session one day, I wasn’t in too much of a hurry to get back to where I had parked, which should be the lot seen here. I then realized there was a pretty good view of the superstructure of the parking garage, and decided to get a shot for posterity.
That particular month for me was real stressful, so the sight plus the nice weather was welcome.
This was a pretty spiffy meal, working out great for a cold December morning back when I was home at ETSU. Cream of mushroom soup, fried red kidney beans, coffee and toast. With the stuff I’m eating while at school, this was a welcome change.
A couple days ago I had posted a sketch my friend Sachiho had given me. This is the colored version of it, Frankly came out pretty well, but I’m sure I can do it a lot better as time goes on. Still, I love how it came out.

While I was at school earlier this afternoon, my friend Sachiho Iba drew this sketch of Sheena for me! She knew I was a big Tales of Symphonia fan and wanted to do something nice for me. I absolutely love the sketch and will be giving this a go-over in Photoshop soon.
I love my new tablet. It’s like I’m living a century in the future. I don’t need to carry my laptop everywhere.
But sometimes it gets bugs. And when it loses the Internet connection, strange things happen. As with here.
I would think with such temperature ranges, we’d all be dead by now. -_-;;
For years I imagined that digital billboards would be a thing of the future. I had NO idea that it would be this recent! While this was a welcome development, there were still bugs to iron out. I caught this one night with my family when we stopped somewhere. This Wendy’s menu in-restaurant was running on Windows 7 and needed to run and update. Typical Windows.
